India : Land of Unity in Diversity

          As a country, my nation is known as India, Hindustan and Bharat. Here, we realize that the nation has diversity in the name itself. But, it follows equity and equality in every sphere of life which shows its unity in diversity.
             Initially, we find the diversity of geographical regions in which  there are many and diverse cultures  with variety languages like Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and so on... Even though, as a nation it has a unique language i .e. Hindi which stands as a symbol of unity in diversity. The cultural diversity shows the variety of food habits, habit of wearing vivid clothes used during festive occasions. Its real cultural beauty is hidden in the diverse festivals and celebrations across the country. Within these festivals, we have maintained integrity by the celebration of national festivals altogether. The festivals like Holi, Divali, Eid, Christmass, Durga Puja and so on.. are celebrated with the same interest and spirit in all over India. We find a social, cultural and national harmony in the diversity.
             Before concluding, it must be noted that India is also a land of diverse religions, castes, sects and creeds but we are ONE as INDIANS. It is and should be a common acceptance of every person in this land of Unity.  Jai Hind ! Jai Bharat !
